Really Far Back
I've been working since I was old
enough to say, "I'm bored." :-) So I credit my parents with
giving and pushing me into various responsibilities at an
early age. Definitely no child labor involved, but useful
things that lead to paper routes, baby sitting for paper
route customers, house sitting, pet sitting, Cub Scouts,
Boy Scouts, ... night guard at plant nursery, church sexton,
Authorized Apple Product Representative, programmer,
software human interface designer, Vice President and
President of the
Birmingham Apple Core, network
installer and supervisor,
certificated and licensed teacher,
Summer Program Leader high school,
Outreach Teacher (E.C.E, El., H.S.),
Computer Science Teacher (E.C.E, El.,
H.S.), among others I'm sure I left out. :-)
Interests
I love music.
I bake bread. I take things seriously
but also love to laugh and can laugh at myself. I love
conversation that's shared, especially with folks who
like words. Fresh air, great smells. Uncluttered views
(I really dislike "in your face" utilities and
commercialism). Frisbee, just plain throwing it.
Physical exercise. Eating healthily, especially food
that tastes good. Living lightly or better.
Intellectual conversation with purpose and faith in
being able to accomplish. People who are kind. People
who work for the betterment and education of others.
